Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chipotle sauce
- 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water. Stir and simmer until thickened. Set aside.
- Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
- Assemble each burrito: layer rice, seasoned beef, sour cream, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, crushed chips, and shredded cheeses.
- Roll each burrito tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat with a little butter.
- Grill each burrito seam-side down until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Serve warm with extra sauce or salsa if desired.
Notes
To prevent tearing, don’t overfill the tortillas. Mix up the fillings with beans or sautéed veggies for a vegetarian version.
